Key Responsibilities

  • •Undertake structural analysis, design, and documentation for underground structures, shafts, trenchless construction methods, temporary works, and related civil infrastructure packages.
  • •Support investigations, condition assessments, and structural appraisals for existing assets affected by construction activities or rehabilitation requirements.
  • •Prepare design calculations, reports, specifications, and technical inputs in line with project requirements and Australian Standards.
  • •Coordinate with geotechnical, civil, mechanical, construction, and digital teams to develop practical, buildable design solutions and contribute to multidisciplinary workshops.
  • •Provide construction-phase support (technical queries, design reviews, and site input as needed), manage work packages to programme and budget, and apply safety-in-design and quality assurance processes.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
  • •Approximately 5 to 8 years of structural engineering design and project delivery experience, ideally within infrastructure, water, or underground structures.
  • •Experience with reinforced concrete and steel design, structural assessment, and preparation of engineering calculations and reports.
  • •Working knowledge of Australian Standards, safety in design requirements, and quality management processes.
  • •Proficiency with structural analysis and design software and the ability to coordinate with drafting and BIM/digital delivery teams.
