Key Responsibilities

  • •Provide leadership and accountability for safety, environmental compliance, and regulatory adherence in assigned activities.
  • •Plan and execute maintenance, outage, construction, capital project, and plant improvement activities, including work planning, resource assembly, and project/outage execution.
  • •Coordinate interfaces among Operations, Maintenance, Engineering, contractors, vendors, and support organizations; develop outage scope, prioritize work, and support readiness reviews.
  • •Track and manage project/outage milestones, budgets, risks, schedules, and performance metrics; review and provide input on work plan, schedule, and resource allocation changes.
  • •Review drawings, specifications, procedures, scopes of work, and technical reports; develop scopes of work and support evaluation of contractor proposals; approve contractor expenditures and invoices as required.

Key Requirements

  • •Minimum baccalaureate degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline, or 5 years of equivalent experience in a related field.
  • •Ability to use TRACK and SAP for optimizing resource loading and scheduling.
  • •Knowledge of power plant systems and operation consistent with the level of responsibility.
  • •Understanding and ability to apply industry and NRG standards, codes, and applicable safety and environmental regulations.
  • •Ability to read and understand English, and to read, create, and follow written policies/procedures and interpret drawings/specifications.
