Key Responsibilities

  • •Contribute to electrical engineering design for transmission and distribution projects, from concept through detailed design.
  • •Collaborate with clients, colleagues, stakeholders and subcontractors to capture feedback and address technical issues.
  • •Support design work including HV power systems analysis, cabling, substations, and interconnectors including overseas links.
  • •Prepare and present technical documentation and reports to clients and internal teams.
  • •Engage with project teams to ensure compliance with relevant standards and codes (BS/Eurocodes).

Key Requirements

  • •Electrical/electronic/power engineering qualification (HNC/HND/BSc/BEng and/or MSc/MEng)
  • •Demonstrable electrical engineering design consultancy experience on transmission and distribution projects
  • •Working knowledge of BS and/or Eurocodes for relevant engineering design standards
  • •Excellent communication skills with internal/external clients and stakeholders, able to explain technical issues clearly
