Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead the planning and delivery of complex trials and test programmes with project teams, customers, and stakeholders to ensure successful execution.
  • •Own end-to-end test and trial activities from developing test plans and securing inputs through to conducting trials, analyzing results, and producing technical reports.
  • •Conduct hands-on environmental and qualification testing, including climatic, shock, vibration, structural, and environmental assessments, while fault-finding and operating specialist equipment.
  • •Support missile systems testing by preparing, integrating, and validating missiles and associated equipment for ground and flight trials, including customer practice firings.
  • •Provide customer-facing technical support and training, including equipment installation and in-service support across Thales sites, customer locations, and trial ranges.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in an Engineering, Scientific, or Mathematical discipline, plus a full UK driving licence and willingness to travel as required.
  • •Hands-on experience with instrumentation, signal conditioning, and data acquisition systems, including configuring, operating, and troubleshooting test equipment.
  • •Ability to analyze and interpret complex test results using analysis tools to make evidence-based recommendations and conclusions.
  • •Strong numerical/analytical and technical reporting skills, including producing high-quality test procedures, reports, and documentation.
  • •Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, for data processing, analysis, and presentation of results.
