Key Responsibilities

  • •Manage day-to-day operations of multiple field crews and ensure safety and quality adherence.
  • •Create and maintain field crew schedules across numerous projects across multiple locations to meet schedule/budget.
  • •Read and interpret utility drawings, as-builts, GIS files, and other utility records; perform QA/QC of SUE field data and subcontractors’ work.
  • •Initiate, track, and document utility records requests with Utility One Call Centers and utility owners/operators.
  • •Use geophysical and surveying equipment (including GPR, GPS, Total Station, and Trimble tools) to locate utilities, perform field audits, troubleshoot field technical issues, and mentor junior staff.

Key Requirements

  • •BS degree plus 4 years of experience (or demonstrated equivalency).
  • •SUE and/or private utility locating experience with a commitment to quality and attention to detail.
  • •Experience and understanding of SUE practices and procedures in accordance with ASCE 38-02 & 38-22.
  • •Ability to travel frequently to field locations, including overnight travel.
  • •Valid U.S. Driver’s License and ability to pass an MVR review.
