Key Responsibilities

  • •Support business compliance with global legislation for Safety Data Sheets (SDS) and classification & labelling (GHS).
  • •Provide expertise in product safety data, hazard and dangerous goods classification to ensure consistent, compliant practice.
  • •Define technical requirements and system settings to implement global product safety and dangerous goods content, aligned with Group HSE product stewardship.
  • •Translate regulatory requirements into requirements for automatic classification algorithms and train/support teams on proper application, focused on SAP EHS.
  • •Enable broader use of product stewardship data (e.g., health risk assessment, process safety assessment, reporting) and support sustainability reporting for substances of concern.

Key Requirements

  • •Education as a chemist or other natural science bachelor’s or master’s degree.
  • •2+ years of experience in classification & labelling and SDS.
  • •Expertise in global hazard communication regulations, including GHS, CLPS, REACH, and dangerous goods classification.
  • •Knowledge in related disciplines such as industrial hygiene, (eco)toxicology, chemical legislation, or data analytics (preferred).
  • •Strong analytical mindset and fast, practical problem-solving.
