Key Responsibilities

  • •Execute regression testing using a mix of manual and automated testing approaches, including creating, maintaining, and executing test specifications and test cases.
  • •Write and maintain automation scripts to support testing.
  • •Identify, document, and track defects found during testing, ensuring issues are properly captured.
  • •Collaborate closely with developers to verify defects are correctly identified and fixed.
  • •Document and publish release notes, user guides, and reference materials for new product releases.

Key Requirements

  • •Create and execute test specifications and test cases, including regression testing using manual and automated techniques.
  • •Write and maintain automation scripts for testing.
  • •Identify, document, and track software defects found during testing, and work with developers to ensure issues are fixed.
  • •Demonstrate strong networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, UDP, routing and switching) and knowledge of common network services (DNS, DHCP, HTTP/HTTPS, Netflow, SNMP).
  • •Have hands-on experience with virtualized environments (VMware/ESXi, hypervisors) and Linux/Windows environments for installing and troubleshooting software and systems (Python/TCL scripting is an asset).
