Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead design responsibilities within a multi-disciplinary team.
  • •Coordinate integrated architectural and engineering outputs across discipline leads, ensuring multi-disciplinary accuracy and governance compliance.
  • •Review and approve drawing information; review and interpret vendor, subcontractor, and third-party design documentation.
  • •Oversee design workflow and produce/co-ordinate design information across all RIBA stages with quality aligned to AECOM Technical Excellence standards.
  • •Manage timelines and programme delivery; mentor and line-manage less experienced team members and provide early design-phase leadership and site design interface support where required.

Key Requirements

  • •Fully qualified architect with ARB registration (or equivalent European/International qualification).
  • •Proven experience on large multi-disciplinary design projects, preferably in infrastructure and/or data centres.
  • •Strong technical design background with a CSA bias and design management across RIBA stages.
  • •Understanding of UK building systems, standards, and regulations and relevant construction types; some building contract experience helpful.
  • •IT literate: CAD software, Microsoft Office Suite (Word/Excel/Teams), and familiarity with CDE platforms for document control and coordination.
