Key Responsibilities

  • •Coordinate and monitor the receipt, order, assembly, and dispatch of goods while using space and mechanical handling equipment efficiently.
  • •Control inventory levels through physical counts and reconciliation with the storage system to keep stock controls up to date.
  • •Supervise warehouse staff by scheduling and assigning employees; recruiting, training, coaching, counseling, and disciplining as needed.
  • •Maintain warehouse conditions and assets by planning new design layouts, inspecting equipment, and overseeing planned maintenance of vehicles, machinery, and systems.
  • •Drive HSE performance by establishing and monitoring security procedures, maintaining health and safety/hygiene standards, and supporting HSE initiatives and incident reporting.

  • •Ensure compliance with local warehousing, material handling, and shipping legislation by enforcing requirements and advising management on needed actions.
  • •Maintain accurate stock control by conducting physical counts and reconciling with the data storage system.
  • •Plan and implement warehouse layout and equipment maintenance by issuing work orders and replacement requisitions.
  • •Prepare annual budgets, schedule expenditures, analyze variances, and initiate corrective actions to achieve financial objectives.
  • •Use warehouse management systems (WMS) and preferably ERP (SAP) knowledge to track inventory, generate reports, and monitor performance.
