Key Responsibilities

  • •Service, repair, and modify avionics equipment under general supervision.
  • •Perform technical analysis of products, modifications, and enhancements in line with customer requirements and approved documentation.
  • •Conduct troubleshooting down to component level to effect timely repairs.
  • •Solder fine pitch and SMD components and assess product needs against customer specifications.
  • •Work in an FAA-regulated, safety-sensitive environment and meet Collins Aerospace Workmanship and Quality Standards.

Key Requirements

  • •HS Diploma or AA/AS degree (or other 2-year post-high school training) with a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience.
  • •Prior experience troubleshooting electronics equipment.
  • •Prior experience working in a Collins Aerospace MRO environment.
  • •Electronics Trade School or Military training equivalent for repairing electronics preferred.
  • •Prior soldering experience and/or troubleshooting to component level preferred.
