Job Summary

Direct day-to-day and strategic engineering and maintenance activities for a highly complex manufacturing plant to achieve equipment, buildings, and grounds objectives. Lead and develop a maintenance team, drive safety and compliance, and oversee preventative maintenance and capital requests. Provide technical input to improve productivity, efficiency, and product quality across blowmold and injection mold operations, manage contractors, and maintain facility systems including HVAC, electrical, and compressed air.

Key Responsibilities

•Manage and oversee maintenance, repairs, and improvements for equipment, buildings, and plant grounds, including installation/removal activities.
•Lead a team of direct reports, handling selection, development/mentoring, performance management, and employee engagement.
•Ensure safety and compliance training and adherence to OSHA and GMP sanitation procedures, including lockout/tagout, hazardous communication, and machine guarding.
•Drive continuous improvement by establishing maintenance priorities, recommending and implementing programs to eliminate problems, improve labor utilization, upgrade facilities, and reduce costs.
•Oversee preventative maintenance programs and facility systems (heating, air conditioning, electrical, compressed air), including CEAV requests and contractor administration.

Travel: Medium travel

Salary: USD 112,800 - 141,000 annually

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in engineering or a related discipline.
•Minimum 5 years of industrial maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.
•Ability to interpret business reports and correspondences.
•Ability to apply mathematical concepts (probability and statistics) to define problems, collect data, and draw conclusions.
•Strong interpersonal skills to communicate effectively and manage/train shift personnel while working under pressure and meeting deadlines.
