Key Responsibilities

  • •Prepare and set tables, and clear them away.
  • •Feed children and provide the right amount of food according to age and weight, including feeding bottles for younger children.
  • •Support the nursery team in providing play opportunities and have continuous interaction with children under your supervision.
  • •Set out the room with toys and activities and arrange furniture to make items accessible.
  • •Maintain high standards of hygiene and cleanliness, ensure health and safety/EYFS requirements are met, and notify the management team of any concerns/issues.

Key Requirements

  • •Experience working with children from birth to five years and behaviour management.

  • •Understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum and the statutory framework.
  • •Understanding of health and safety in the workplace and commitment to equal opportunities and child protection.
  • •Willingness to undertake relevant training (e.g., First Aid) and ability to communicate effectively and work as part of a team; DBS clearance required.
