Job Summary

Serve as a Retail Personal Banker focused on consultative sales to identify and meet customers’ financial needs. Build customer profiles using Financial Needs Assessment, cross-sell retail consumer and small business products, and proactively set financial review appointments using CAMP and other marketing tools. Work with business partners (Mortgage, Small Business, Commercial and Investment) for referrals, meet production and customer experience goals, and handle teller transactions as part of the platform staff.

•Use consultative sales process and Financial Needs Assessment to build customer profiles and identify current/future financial needs.
•Maintain in-depth knowledge of retail consumer and small business products and recommend solutions aligned to customers’ needs.
•Use CAMP and other approved marketing tools to proactively reach out to customers and set appointments for periodic financial reviews.
•Cross-sell to the existing customer base and engage in outside sales activities, including onsite presentations and community financial literacy events.
•Process teller transactions and support referrals to business partners (Mortgage, Small Business, Commercial and Investment) while meeting production and customer experience goals.

Key Requirements

•College degree or work experience that provides transferable skills, or a combination of education and experience.
•Ability to develop comfort with sales activities to acquire new consumer household and small business customers and/or cross-sell to existing customers.
•Demonstrated understanding of advanced math functions used to analyze credit and financial information.
•Ability to represent Fifth Third Bank professionally through appearance and verbal/written communication.
•S.A.F.E. Act registration at time of employment through NMLS (MU4R questions and registration required).
