Key Responsibilities

  • •Develop procurement and contracting strategy and implement it across project packages.
  • •Own tendering activities including package plans, schedules, bidder lists, RFQs/RFPs, scopes of work, bid evaluations, negotiation strategies, and award recommendations.
  • •Administer EPC and major project contracts post-award, including contractual term interpretation, variation/change control, claims, payments, and close-out.
  • •Maintain contract registers and ensure contractual notices and responses are issued within required timeframes, including bonds, guarantees, insurance, and key dates.
  • •Lead and develop the procurement and contracts team while coordinating with cost, planning, engineering, commissioning, document control, and Client teams; escalate items outside delegated authority.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Law, or a related discipline.
  • •12–15 years of procurement and contracts experience on major construction or infrastructure projects.
  • •Minimum 5 years leading procurement, contracts, or commercial functions across the procurement lifecycle from strategy and tendering through award, administration, and close-out.
  • •Strong contractor prequalification and tender management experience, including technical and commercial bid evaluations.
  • •Strong EPC contract administration experience under FIDIC or equivalent contract forms, including variations, change orders, claims, and payment certification.
