Key Responsibilities

  • •Iteratively optimize TikTok vertical or short-drama app search quality and relevance algorithm directions.
  • •Solve multimodal pain points such as semantic alignment and cross-modal matching deviation by integrating visual features and text semantics.
  • •Improve relevance models and vertical search experience quality using LLM/VML technologies.
  • •Implement vertical search algorithm models and perform full-process optimization across training, inference, and deployment, ensuring online stability.
  • •Track cutting-edge technology trends and conduct pre-research and innovative practices to advance semantic understanding and relevance matching.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree or above in a computer-related major with strong coding skills, including proficiency in C++ and/or Python, and familiarity with data structures and programming algorithms.
  • •Strong machine learning foundation with algorithm design and modeling skills, and familiarity with at least one of ML, data mining, NLP, image processing, multimodality, or large models.
  • •Ability to analyze and solve complex problems with initiative, curiosity, and strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • •Familiarity with search business characteristics and experience in content search and recommendations.
  • •In-depth understanding of image quality evaluation, content relevance judgment, and multimodal content understanding.
