Job Summary

Lead delivery of complex airfield infrastructure projects from planning through commissioning in a live airport environment. Drive schedule, cost, risk, and quality management; mentor PMs; maintain resource plans; ensure governance and stakeholder alignment with programme objectives to deliver safe, on-time, on-budget outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

•Oversee and monitor project delivery, including management of schedule, interfaces, costs, variations, contracts, and risks, while coordinating with stakeholders and functions as required.
•Develop and maintain the Project Execution Plan, ensuring alignment with standards, methodologies, and objectives.
•Manage and maintain the project relationship with the Airport Transformation Manager and other key stakeholders.
•Lead and manage a team of Project Managers responsible for delivery of individual projects within the programme.
•Provide direction and oversight to ensure appropriate project management processes, controls, and performance measures are implemented and maintained.

Key Requirements

•A minimum of 15 years’ experience within the construction and infrastructure sector, including the successful delivery of aviation and/or other major projects of comparable scale, complexity, and operational criticality.
•Demonstrated understanding of working within live operational airport environments, with a strong appreciation of the associated safety, operational, and stakeholder management requirements.
•Proven experience managing and overseeing project delivery on-site, with a hands-on approach to construction and infrastructure project execution.
•Extensive experience in developing, documenting, and implementing construction project management frameworks, policies, procedures, and best-practice standards.
•Strong track record of delivering major construction and asset delivery projects safely, on schedule, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
