Key Responsibilities

  • •Design, develop, and operate business-critical APIs and services with high availability, low latency, security, and scalability.
  • •Own microservices lifecycle: develop, test, deploy, and monitor services powering search, voice, and captions.
  • •Mentor and guide junior engineers; conduct code reviews, pair programming, and technical coaching.
  • •Lead performance and reliability improvements using monitoring/profiling/tracing, load testing, and optimizations such as data modeling, query optimization, and caching.
  • •Participate in on-call rotations and lead incident response to maintain system reliability; lead architecture discussions and design reviews.

Key Requirements

  • •MS or BS degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Mathematics.
  • •6+ years building high-performance, scalable backend cloud application systems.
  • •Expertise in Kotlin or Python (or similar languages).
  • •Experience with Spring Boot or Bottle/Gunicorn, and backend web frameworks.
  • •Hands-on experience with relational and NoSQL databases, plus Elastic Search query optimization and scaling.
