Key Responsibilities

  • •Partner with account teams to provide technical systems engineering support for enterprise customers and channel partners to identify SD-WAN opportunities and gather WAN requirements.
  • •Architect and design VeloCloud SD-WAN and Arista solution recommendations, including network designs using VeloCloud cloud-delivered architecture and integrated security capabilities.
  • •Architect and position Arista SD-Branch solutions for branch deployments, designing integrated SD-WAN, campus switching, wireless, and security with validated Zero Trust networking and holistic branch topology.
  • •Provide pre-sales support by delivering presentations, demonstrations, and participating in sales calls; lead technical responses to RFIs, RFPs, and sales proposals.
  • •Perform PoCs with hands-on testing, deliver technical training, handle customer escalations with engineering/support, and provide feedback to Engineering/Product based on customer and partner input.

Key Requirements

  • •BS/CS/CE technical degree or relevant experience.
  • •Minimum 7+ years of pre-sales experience with data centers, campus, WAN technologies, or cloud services, especially in enterprise value-added reseller and systems integrator environments.
  • •Hands-on experience managing PoCs, field trials, and beta programs in WAN networking.
  • •Expert knowledge in three or more areas including Ethernet/LAN switching, IPSec, IP routing (OSPF, BGP), TCP/IP, VxLAN, EVPN, Multicast, QoS, and SD-WAN.
  • •Experience enabling routing functionality in Virtual Private Cloud from AWS, Azure, or GCP; knowledge of automation (REST API, Python scripting, Ansible) is a plus.
