Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead project cost engineering and cost control activities, including cost management procedures, reporting standards, governance, and assurance processes.
  • •Develop and maintain independent project cost estimates; review owner budgets and contractor cost submissions to support sanction, business case, and stage-gate reviews.
  • •Establish and maintain integrated cost control systems across budgets, commitments, actuals, accruals, forecasts, contingencies, and reserves; monitor performance and report variances.
  • •Monitor EPC/EPCI contractor cost performance, including payment applications, variations, claims, and escalation risks; validate contractor assumptions from an owner-side perspective.
  • •Manage contingency, trend, and risk evaluation, including trend register updates, sensitivity/scenario modelling, cash flow forecasting, and earned value performance (CPI/SPI) reporting.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Engineering, Construction Management, Finance, Commerce, Economics, or a related discipline.
  • •12–15+ years’ experience in cost engineering, project controls, or project cost management.
  • •At least 8 years in a senior Cost Engineer, Cost Manager, or Project Controls leadership role.
  • •Proven experience on major EPC/EPCI infrastructure, energy, or industrial projects.
  • •Strong expertise in cost estimating, cost control, forecasting, Earned Value Management (EVM), and project economics.
