Key Responsibilities

  • •Collaborate with architects, hardware engineers, and firmware engineers to understand new features to be verified.
  • •Plan and document verification test plans, considering interactions across features, hardware, firmware, and software driver use cases.
  • •Estimate time required to write new feature tests and make changes to the test environment.
  • •Build directed and random verification tests and debug failures to determine root cause, working with RTL and firmware engineers to resolve defects and test issues.
  • •Review functional and code coverage metrics, modify or add tests as needed, and develop automated regression infrastructure and interface assertions with the formal verification team.

Salary: GBP 55,930 - 79,900 annually

Key Requirements

  • •Passion for modern, complex processor architecture, digital design, and verification with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • •Excellent communication skills and experience collaborating with engineers across different sites/time zones.
  • •3+ years of experience in design verification.
  • •Bachelors or Masters degree in computer engineering or Electrical Engineering.
  • •Proficiency with simulation-based debugging of firmware and RTL code, including testbench development in C++ and experience with SystemVerilog/Verilog.
  • •Preferred: proficient in IP level ASIC verification and CPU pipeline knowledge.
