Key Responsibilities

•Analyze current equipment and identify inefficiencies to design instrumentation meeting safety and usability requirements.
•Collaborate with engineers to develop accurate, efficient equipment and instrumentation for data collection and client needs.
•Design and test prototypes of equipment including PCBA and electrical system components with hands-on testing and rework.
•Create schematics and simulated models to test designs and adjust to meet specifications and budgets.
•Oversee implementation of new measuring devices and control systems, ensuring proper installation and testing.

Key Requirements

•8+ years of design, development, and installation experience with sensors for data collection on system performance
•Experience with NI LabVIEW or NI DAQmx or equivalent data acquisition systems
•Strong analog signal conditioning and ADC/DAC knowledge
•Ability to develop computer applications for data collection and to write/understand Python
•Eligible to obtain and maintain an active U.S. Secret security clearance
