Job Summary

Lead and operate on-prem virtualization and private cloud infrastructure for the TechOps CICD software factory at scale. Drive migration from VMware toward a KVM-based IaC private cloud model, including storage migration work. Build and maintain Infrastructure as Code with Terraform, Packer, and Ansible, operate distributed storage (NFS/CIFS), ensure monitoring and resilience, and troubleshoot incidents while mentoring engineers across time zones.

•Lead the design and operation of on-prem virtualization environments focused on QEMU/KVM and OpenNebula.
•Drive migration from VMware toward a KVM-based IaC private cloud model.
•Contribute to storage migration from TrueNAS to PowerFlex, including storage cluster design and operational handoff.
•Design, build, and maintain Infrastructure as Code using Terraform, Packer, and Ansible.
•Operate and optimize distributed storage infrastructure and protocols, ensuring monitoring, maintenance, resilience, and incident root-cause resolution while mentoring junior engineers.

Travel: Low travel

Key Requirements

•7+ years of experience in large-scale production infrastructure environments and ability to participate in an on-call rotation.
•Expertise with hypervisor platforms (strong preference for QEMU/KVM; VMware or Xen experience also applicable).

•Proficiency with Infrastructure as Code tools including Terraform, Packer, and Ansible.
•Experience with distributed storage infrastructure and protocols such as NFS and CIFS, plus enterprise OS experience at scale (Linux, Windows, macOS).
