Key Responsibilities

  • •Operate the vehicle according to applicable state and federal transportation laws.
  • •Transport loads safely and on time while following all traffic laws and safety regulations.
  • •Maneuver trucks and trailers into loading/unloading areas and follow loading crew signals.
  • •Assist with loading and unloading goods and materials using specialized equipment; return equipment to designated areas.
  • •Maintain delivery paperwork (invoices, shipping bills of lading) and perform routine service checks such as oil, water, gasoline, and air; report maintenance issues.

Key Requirements

  • •Hold a commercial driver’s license (Class A CDL) or a chauffeur’s license appropriate for the vehicle operated.
  • •Pass required background and drug testing (including a DOT physical; trucks over 10k lbs).
  • •Be at least 21 years old to operate a company vehicle.
  • •Demonstrate strong interpersonal and customer service skills when speaking professionally with customers and staff.
  • •Lift and move up to 40 pounds, travel frequently, and be able to sit for prolonged periods in a trailer cab.
