Key Responsibilities

•Own Treasury Operations & Risk Management: Take full ownership of treasury operations and credit risk across Francophone Africa corridors, ensuring Taptap Send is taking the right risks at every step.
•Assess & Monitor Counterparty Risk: Evaluate and track risk exposure with intermediary financial partners in high-volatility, emerging market environments, and building frameworks suited to real conditions, not textbook ones.
•Build & Maintain Risk Frameworks: Design practical, scalable risk processes for corridors where regulatory frameworks move quickly.
•Identify & Mitigate Operational Exposures: Surface risks before they become problems and develop concrete mitigations in collaboration with internal teams.
•Partner Relationship Management: Maintain strong working relationships with financial partners and institutions across Francophone Africa, acting as a trusted point of contact.

Key Requirements

•Credit & risk experience with hands-on exposure to counterparty risk in volatile environments
•Emerging markets background, with understanding of Africa, India or LatAm contexts
•Fintech, payments, remittances, or risk-focused consulting experience
•Track record of building, delivering, and taking ownership of projects
•Fluency in French and English
