Key Responsibilities

  • •Complete full heat pump system installs from start to finish, including removing existing gas furnaces and AC equipment and leaving spaces clean.
  • •Execute refrigerant recovery, system evacuation, and proper charging with precision.
  • •Read and work from blueprints and wiring diagrams, troubleshooting confidently as needed.
  • •Ensure every job is compliant with local building codes and safety standards, maintaining the quality bar throughout the install.
  • •Guide and support less experienced installers, communicate with homeowners throughout the job, and collaborate with the engineering team to improve the process.

Key Requirements

  • •Extensive hands-on residential HVAC installation experience, including physically demanding work in attics and crawlspaces.
  • •Proven experience leading an install crew—dividing work, keeping installs on track, and holding the team accountable.
  • •EPA Section 608 Certification (required).
  • •Ability to read blueprints and wiring schematics and follow local building codes and compliance requirements.
  • •Strong refrigerant handling skills (recovery, evacuation, and charging) with a low tolerance for cutting corners.
