Job Summary

We are seeking a Consultant Ecologist/Senior Ecologist to join WSP’s Nature Services team, delivering a wide range of ecology projects across Scotland and Ireland. You’ll conduct Phase 1/UKHab surveys, produce ecological reports, mentor junior staff, liaise with clients and regulators, and contribute to tendering and project delivery within a supportive, growth‑oriented environment.

Key Responsibilities

•Plan and undertake ecology surveys including Phase 1/UKHab habitat surveys and protected species surveys (badger, otter, bat, amphibians and reptiles, etc).
•Prepare a range of ecological deliverables including Protected Species Reports and Preliminary Ecological Appraisals.
