Key Responsibilities

  • •Prepare engineering designs, calculations, technical reports, specifications, and construction documents for municipal water and wastewater projects.
  • •Support planning, design, and rehabilitation of water distribution and wastewater collection systems, including force mains, gravity sewers, pump stations, and conveyance infrastructure.
  • •Perform hydraulic calculations and system evaluations for water and wastewater networks.
  • •Develop engineering drawings utilizing AutoCAD Civil 3D and coordinate with multidisciplinary project teams.
  • •Support permitting, construction observations, condition assessments, and review of contractor submittals/RFIs to deliver projects safely and to quality standards.

Key Requirements

  • •BS/BA in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or a closely related discipline, plus 4+ years of relevant experience (or demonstrated equivalency).
  • •Professional Engineer (PE) license or ability to obtain licensure within a reasonable timeframe.
  • •Experience preparing engineering calculations, technical reports, specifications, and construction documents.
  • •Experience with municipal water and wastewater infrastructure design, including water distribution, wastewater collection, pump stations, and conveyance systems.
  • •Experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D and hydraulic modeling using tools such as WaterGEMS, SewerGEMS, InfoWater Pro, InfoWorks ICM, or Bentley OpenFlows.
