Key Responsibilities

  • •Implement Ovation control logic/graphics and validate performance using Gas Turbine Simulator; test, verify, and document results.

  • •Lead design reviews and Factory Acceptance Tests (SDR and FAT) with customers; coordinate commissioning support for field service.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in control & instrumentation, power, or electrical engineering.
  • •Minimum 5 years of experience in gas turbine control system hardware and software development, implementation, testing, and validation.
  • •Experience working for a major turbine manufacturer or turbine controls vendor (e.g., GE, Siemens, Westinghouse, ABB, Alstom, Mitsubishi, Hitachi, Toshiba).
  • •Knowledge of gas turbine control algorithms (e.g., fuel governor, sequencing and auxiliaries, AGC, isochronous and droop controls).
  • •Proficiency configuring database, logic, and HMIs of one or more DCS platforms (e.g., Emerson Ovation).
