Key Responsibilities

  • •Maintain and evolve the core Ruby on Rails monolith, addressing bugs and implementing robust features.
  • •Collaborate across Kotlin, Java/Spring Boot, and TypeScript components to ensure seamless integration and forward-compatible architecture.
  • •Address architectural complexity by identifying root causes, refactoring where appropriate, and safeguarding system reliability.
  • •Contribute to data pipelines and cloud infrastructure using AWS services, PostgreSQL, and related tooling (Debezium, Pulsar, OpenSearch).
  • •Participate in Agile ceremonies, communicate progress clearly, and influence technical decisions in a fast-paced, globally distributed team.

Key Requirements

  • •Experience maintaining and evolving a Ruby on Rails monolith and contributing features written in Kotlin or Java/Spring Boot.
  • •Proficiency with PostgreSQL and knowledge of data pipelines and messaging (e.g., Debezium, Apache Pulsar) in a cloud environment (AWS).
  • •Strong REST API skills and familiarity with frontend basics (React/TypeScript) is a plus.
  • •Demonstrated analytical thinking and ability to navigate complex, legacy code while delivering reliable fixes.
  • •Comfortable working remotely with overlapping US/EU time zones and strong communication within a distributed team.
