Key Responsibilities

  • •Take ownership, define strategy, and drive improvements for parts of the security program (fuzzing, threat modeling, secrets management, container security)
  • •Support engineering teams during security issue responses with risk analysis and proof of concept
  • •Advocate for and contribute to complex security projects from inception through completion
  • •Drive security architecture, patterns, and processes across Server Engineering so security is the easiest path
  • •Research and prove new attacks; perform product security assessments including architecture review, threat modeling, code review, pen testing, and security consulting; serve as a security subject matter expert and educate via CTFs and mentorship

Key Requirements

  • •3+ years of experience in application security, software security, or product security
  • •Demonstrated experience in C++ programming and performing security assessments on low-level codebases, including remediating memory-related flaws like buffer overflows and memory leaks

  • •Comfort leading threat modeling and acting as a security ambassador to other engineering teams
