Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead commissioning activities and acceptance testing (FAT/SAT), manage suppliers, and customize pre-cast equipment for the blades and vanes investment casting line.
  • •Coordinate supplier-defined facilities and services, including power, water, waste, controls, network connectivity, and MES.
  • •After commissioning, take process ownership for assigned cores-through-cast operations and drive production-ready capability for cost, rate, yield, and quality.
  • •Specify, design, and implement tools, fixtures, process aids, and additional equipment to achieve rate/quality/yield targets.
  • •Develop and maintain work instructions, process specifications, PFMEAs, control plans, and change-control documentation; own EHS/process safety and troubleshoot issues on the floor.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, manufacturing, industrial, electrical, chemical, materials science, or another engineering discipline.
  • •5+ years of equipment, manufacturing, or process engineering with hands-on installation, commissioning, FAT/SAT, and supplier management.
  • •Experience in at least one major investment casting or closely related high-temperature/precision process area, and ability to learn the full cores-through-cast flow.
  • •Strong mechanical aptitude with working knowledge of electrical, controls, automation, and facilities; able to support maintenance/reliability for assigned equipment.
  • •Direct experience with equipment such as VIM furnaces, ceramic/wax injection, kilns/ovens, autoclaves, dip lines, core leachers, HIP, heat treat, AGVs, or related systems.
