Key Responsibilities

  • •Design, evaluate, and characterize audio hardware systems including speakers, amplifiers, and digital audio interfaces.
  • •Conduct acoustic measurements and psychoacoustic evaluations to validate performance and meet specifications.
  • •Tune audio algorithms and systems to optimize sound quality in different acoustic environments.
  • •Support hardware bring-up, debugging, and root-cause analysis of audio and acoustic issues in prototypes and production units.
  • •Work with software and algorithm teams to define requirements, optimize end-to-end audio performance, and maintain technical documentation including test reports and tuning guidelines.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s or higher degree in Acoustics, Electrical Engineering, Audio Engineering, or a related field.
  • •Solid knowledge of speaker protection and speaker modelling.
  • •Solid experience in audio hardware design and/or acoustic engineering.
  • •Proficiency with audio test equipment and acoustic measurement systems (e.g., SoundCheck, Klippel, APx) plus acoustic testing methodologies.
  • •5+ years of relevant audio industry experience and ability to communicate and work well in a team.
