Key Responsibilities

  • •Provide risk and commercial advice during the project lifecycle to support transportation business and project leadership.
  • •Support finance with reporting and forecasting of commercial performance for supported projects.
  • •Manage change control rigorously, including commercial implications, and assess commercial risk and opportunities.
  • •Apply contractual mechanisms, prepare CE quotations, and support negotiation to agreement.
  • •Manage internal reporting processes including Earned Value Management (EVM) and EACs, plus supply chain contract administration and reconciliation activities.

Key Requirements

  • •Degree in a business, finance, law, or engineering discipline.
  • •Accountancy, surveying, or law qualification (e.g., ACCA, ACMA, CPA, MRICS, Law Society) is advantageous.
  • •Experience in legal, commercial, or financial roles within the construction and property industry.
  • •Commercial management experience on large value projects (fee values in excess of £1million).
  • •Strong understanding of risk management processes and commercial acumen with ability to interpret complex financial systems and reports.
