Key Responsibilities

  • •Gather and maintain documentation required for financial assistance applications.
  • •Perform real-time eligibility checks to confirm and identify patient insurance coverage using the hospital’s Health Information System, payer websites, and patient contacts.
  • •Interview patients and families about their ability to pay, counsel on estimated costs, and explain payment options, discounts, and UAE assistance programs.
  • •Update guarantor and subscriber information in the system and collaborate with Patient Access and Pre-Admission Review for demographic and insurance coverage details.
  • •Document patient communications, application/payment-plan status, and request/collect/post patient payments when appropriate.
