Key Responsibilities

  • •Directly manage and develop a team of hourly associates to achieve production targets and meet production and quality goals.
  • •Oversee day-to-day inspection center activities, identify strengths and weaknesses, determine improvement opportunities, and ensure clear expectations and performance measures.
  • •Review and approve mechanical and physical defects of incoming inventory, and partner with the Inspection Center General Manager to repair or reject vehicles based on estimated costs and overall quality.
  • •Train production associates using Quality Control standards to complete repairs effectively and efficiently the first time, minimizing re-checks and delays.
  • •Ensure safe operations and compliance with systems, policies, procedures, and performance standards; prevent and resolve conflict and manage overtime/variable schedules.

Key Requirements

  • •High school diploma or GED equivalent.
  • •Experience using computers.
  • •Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • •Demonstrated functional expertise in one or more areas of Carvana’s reconditioning process and understanding of current reconditioning processes and lean principles.
  • •Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record and the ability to lift up to 60 pounds and perform extended standing and physical tasks.
