Job Summary

Maintain and repair quarry/plant crushing and conveying equipment with limited supervision, diagnosing issues and performing mechanical and welding-based repairs. Overhaul and test conveyors, feeders, crushers, hydraulic/pneumatic systems, pumps, and related production components to ensure performance to manufacturer specifications. Perform routine maintenance, lubrication and oil/lube/filter service, follow safety policies, and operate and inspect heavy equipment onsite during the night shift.

Key Responsibilities

•Maintain a high level of safety compliance in accordance with company and federal guidelines.
•Repair and replace damaged or worn parts on conveyor and crushing equipment.
•Dismantle and reassemble conveyor components (e.g., bearings, gearboxes, pulleys, rock crushers).
•Perform routine maintenance and lubrication-related tasks, including oil, lube and filter service.
•Operate and inspect machines/heavy equipment onsite and test equipment after repair or assembly to ensure proper performance.

Key Requirements

•Diagnose, adjust, repair, or overhaul crushing equipment, conveyor systems, and hydraulic/pneumatic equipment used in quarry industries.
•Perform mechanical repairs to conveyors, feeders, hydraulic systems, pumps, and other asphalt facility production components with limited supervision.
•Review lubrication reports and service records, and perform oil, lube, and filter service on assigned equipment as directed.
•Have some cutting and welding experience; welding experience using many techniques and tools is preferred.
•Operate and inspect heavy equipment onsite and follow all company policies and MSHA/OSHA safety regulations.
