Job Function: Field Service, Maintenance & Skilled Trades

Key Responsibilities

  • •Act as technical lead on live install threads, running pre-install prep calls, triaging/resolving issues, and owning shift handoff.
  • •Perform real-time troubleshooting mid-install across ISP circuit turn-up, native VLAN mismatches, port configurations on AP uplinks, DHCP reservations, inter-VLAN routing, IPSec tunnel failures, and HA failover.
  • •Own network sign-off before deployment, clearing dashboard issue checks, validating hardware readiness (firewalls, switches, APs, PDUs) and current NOS, and executing VLAN auto-config.
  • •Track and keep installations moving by documenting progress, updating technical project managers and stakeholders, and surfacing blockers early.
  • •Close the feedback loop by identifying recurring failure patterns and partnering with Operations Engineering to ship new playbooks, tooling, or product fixes.
