Key Responsibilities

  • •Review work orders and determine efficient build plans and production sequences for timely delivery.
  • •Fabricate small to large assemblies using build planning, layout, prep, welding, drilling, grinding, manual machining, and sawing.
  • •Own R&D fabrication tasks end-to-end with limited oversight, including evaluating designs, ordering material, and executing fabrication.
  • •Design and build weld fixtures to hold stringent tolerances on complex weldments.
  • •Perform quality checks on finished hardware and provide feedback to design engineers on manufacturability while ensuring shop safety compliance.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 32.69 - 43.27 hourly

Key Requirements

  • •5+ years of hands-on metal fabrication and welding experience in prototype, R&D, or low-volume production.
  • •5+ years of welding expertise in GMAW, FCAW, and GTAW on steel, stainless, aluminum, and/or exotic alloys.
  • •Proficiency in sheet metal fabrication and forming with precise tolerance control.
  • •Ability to read and interpret complex engineering drawings, including GD&T.
  • •Ability to perform basic conventional machining (manual mill and lathe) to +/- 0.005 inches.
