Key Responsibilities

  • •Reserve, circulate, renew, and discharge books and other materials in accordance with library policies and procedures.
  • •Enter and update library system records daily, including cataloging and technical document catalog updates.
  • •Assist users in locating materials using library catalogs, databases, and indexes.
  • •Sort, shelve, preserve, and visually inspect materials; remove damaged items and route them to the technical librarian.
  • •Compile and maintain monthly library usage statistics spreadsheets and handle serials (periodicals), including property labeling and overdue notices.
