Job Summary

Support the development and coordination of a corporate strategic plan by conducting research and strategic analysis for senior leadership and the Board. Partner with business units to shape annual strategic business unit plans using energy market fundamentals, industry trends, and strategic opportunities. Evaluate energy fundamentals, market dynamics, economics, policy, and geopolitical factors, while tracking strategic metrics and preparing board- and executive-level materials and communications.

•Support development and coordination of the corporate strategic plan by producing decision-ready research and analysis for senior leadership and the Board.
•Partner with business units to develop annual strategic business unit plans using energy market fundamentals, industry trends, and strategic opportunities.
•Assess energy fundamentals, market dynamics, economic conditions, policy developments, and geopolitical factors to inform strategic recommendations.
•Develop analysis and insights to evaluate strategies that create, preserve, and enhance enterprise value.
•Track and interpret strategic metrics and support preparation of executive leadership and board-level materials and enterprise strategy communications.

•Strong understanding of business fundamentals and value drivers in the energy sector (pipelines, utilities, renewables, or related industries).
•Demonstrated ability to conduct qualitative and quantitative research, synthesize complex information, and develop actionable insights.
•Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word; experience with market research and financial analysis tools is an asset.
