Key Responsibilities

  • •Own Joko’s integrated People function and grow the team and structure (including building sub-teams and leadership roles).
  • •Translate headcount plans into a proactive hiring roadmap and improve talent acquisition processes and candidate experience.
  • •Stand up the People Business Partnering model for org design, performance, team development, and compensation.
  • •Scale core People Operations processes (onboarding, benefits, payroll, career frameworks) across France, Spain, and the US.
  • •Create employee experiences across offices and remote teams, including offsites and company events.

Key Requirements

  • •10+ years of experience, including 5+ years managing a team, in high-growth tech startups or scale-ups.
  • •Have owned a full People function (talent acquisition, people business partnering, and people operations), ideally across multiple countries.
  • •Experience building functions and programs from scratch rather than inheriting existing processes.
  • •Architectural, systems-thinking approach connecting org design, workforce planning, talent analytics, and leadership development.
  • •Fluency in French and English, with strong communication, stakeholder management, and emotional intelligence.
