Job Summary

Senior electrical design role within an engineering consultancy in India. Key Responsibilities

  • •Undertake electrical services designs from feasibility to detailed design (RIBA Stage 4) covering LV distribution, LV single-line diagrams, LV standby generation, LV discrimination, UPS systems, cable calculations, distribution board schedules, lighting calculations, small power, fire alarms, intruder detection, access control and data cabling.
  • •Collaborate with mechanical, architectural and civil/structural engineers to ensure integrated design solutions.
  • •Communicate effectively internally and externally to stakeholders and project teams.
  • •Develop electrical design layouts and LV single-line diagrams in AutoCAD and other design tools.
  • •Coordinate with multi-disciplinary teams to ensure quality and timely project delivery.

  • •Good interpersonal skills and able to work as part of a multi-disciplinary team.
  • •Customer focus, commitment to quality management and problem solving.
  • •Experience in electrical engineering design on capital projects.
  • •Experience of motor controls including variable speed drives.
  • •Working understanding of latest electrical design software packages to allocate/direction of work on projects.
