Job Summary

Own and continuously improve the Legal team’s operations—workflows, systems, vendors, and metrics—so attorneys can focus on high-value legal work. Manage outside counsel and billing processes, administer tools like Ironclad and Legal Tracker, and handle AP reconciliation, finance reporting, and legal mail routing. Optimize a legal tech stack and knowledge management while partnering cross-functionally with Finance, Procurement, HR, IT, and leading AI-enabled modernization.

Key Responsibilities

•Own outside counsel and vendor management, including matter lifecycle in Legal Tracker, billing guideline enforcement, invoice approvals, monthly accruals, and new firm onboarding.
•Serve as primary administrator for Ironclad, managing contract submitter access and NDA workflows, HRBP signer requests, and Okta group management.
•Manage AP reconciliation and finance reporting, including monthly forecasts, budget tracking across cost centers, settlement payments, and insurance procurement with Procurement.
•Oversee legal mail routing to ensure timely triage across litigation, Trust & Safety, payroll, and people ops.
•Manage and optimize the Legal team’s tech stack and legal workflows, including contract systems and knowledge management, and evaluate/integrate AI tools.

Key Requirements

•4+ years of experience in legal operations, paralegal work, or a related legal/business operations role, preferably at a technology company.
•Hands-on experience with e-billing and matter management platforms (Legal Tracker or equivalent) and contract lifecycle management tools (Ironclad or equivalent).
•Strong financial acumen including invoice processing, budget tracking, AP reconciliation, and monthly accruals.
•Demonstrated enthusiasm for AI and legal technology, with proven experience using AI tools.
•Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail with strong communication and a service-oriented mindset.
