Stevedore II - Engineer/Conductor (Rail Operations)

Operate passenger or freight trains safely and securely under the Rail Operations Supervisor, ensuring compliance with GCOR and ABTH. Manage train makeup, switching cars, and coordinating rail yard and main line movements using radios and hand signals. Handle emergency procedures, build and classify cars, break down deliveries, and maintain required conductor records. Instruct engineers/brakemen on safety rules, support personnel on rail movement tie-down instructions, and perform organizational and preventive maintenance for locomotives and track switches.
