Job Summary

Serve as the primary service and maintenance contact for Trane customers in a commercial market. Commission, troubleshoot, repair, and start up HVAC systems on-site, using air conditioning theory, pipe fitting knowledge, and mechanical layouts. Coordinate installation and repair work with team leaders/project managers and customers, maintain safety standards, and ensure customer satisfaction through timely diagnosis and fixes. Work from home with dispatches and occasional overtime/weekends.

•Coordinate with team leaders/project managers and customers to understand requirements for on-site installations and repairs, forecasting issues, gathering materials, and synchronizing work.
•Serve as the direct customer contact and ensure customer satisfaction by diagnosing and repairing HVAC equipment and systems at customer locations.
•Use blueprints/engineering specifications and hand tools to diagnose and repair units.
•Maintain flexibility for overtime and weekends as needed, including occasional overnight stays.
•Enforce safety standards and maintain security/accountability of company and procured assets by recording use, wear, and conditions.

Key Requirements

•High school diploma (or equivalent) and typically 5+ years of HVAC experience; technical school/formal training preferred.
•Operating knowledge of Microsoft Office software and proficiency with handheld devices (e.g., smartphone, iPad).
•Valid driver’s license for at least 12 months with no major/frequent traffic violations.
•EPA Certification.
•Able to meet physical/safety requirements for the role, including safe vehicle operation and use of required PPE.
