Key Responsibilities

  • •Perform high-quality aircraft maintenance and rectification services while adhering to WHS and Quality policies and procedures.
  • •Carry out maintenance on company aircraft, ensuring tasks are completed accurately and on time.
  • •Oversee quality control for aircraft presentation upon completion of maintenance and prior to release.
  • •Ensure compliance with Jetstar’s Safety Management System, training, and regulatory requirements.
  • •Work flexibly at other ports, including international locations, and collaborate with contractors and external service providers.

Key Requirements

  • •Completed Certificate IV in Aeroskills, with Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) in progress, and/or an equivalent trade qualification in Mechanical, Avionics, or Structures (preferably under CASA/EASA/CAANZ/UKCAA regulations).
  • •Experience and/or type ratings with A320, A321 and/or B787 (desirable).
  • •At least 5 years post-apprenticeship maintenance experience across all ports.
  • •Excellent time management and the ability to manage self and others effectively.
  • •Valid driving license and ability to obtain an Airside Drivers License; willing to hold a Qantas Group-issued ASIC and pass a Pre-Employment Medical test.
