Minimize scrap, perform minor welding equipment maintenance, adhere to safety rules, and operate tools and equipment under supervision.

•Analyze the level of repair needed to remove weld defects
•Identify and inspect areas needing repair on aluminum parts
•Weld repairs using GMAW or GTAW in flat, horizontal, vertical, or overhead positions
•Remove defective welds and weld in compliance with Process Control Procedures, customer requirements, and AWS D8.14 specifications
•Inspect completed welds, minimize scrap, and perform minor maintenance/repair on welding equipment

Key Requirements

•Ability to pass an in-house GTAW welding test
•1-year minimum experience or an AWS certification
•Read precision measuring instruments and weld drawings
•Vision requirement: 20/20 or corrected near vision in both eyes
•Follow process control procedures, customer requirements, and AWS D8.14 welding specifications
