Key Responsibilities

  • •Partner with functional subject matter experts to map current-state processes and co-design AI-first reinventions.
  • •Translate business requirements into technical specifications, architecture diagrams, and delivery plans, then build agentic solutions end-to-end.
  • •Prototype rapidly with Python and modern AI tooling (LLM APIs, RAG patterns, agent frameworks, workflow orchestration) before productionizing.
  • •Build and maintain integrations between Box’s core SaaS systems using APIs, iPaaS platforms, and custom services.
  • •Apply security, privacy, and compliance controls and operate what you build with monitoring, runbooks, incident response, and continuous improvement.

Key Requirements

  • •2-3+ years of hands-on engineering experience in IT or software engineering, with a track record of shipping production code used by real users.
  • •Deep experience with agentic coding platforms (e.g., Claude Code, Cursor, Codex) and building custom agents leveraging MCP servers and CLIs.
  • •Proficiency in Python (or Go, TypeScript, Java) to write clean, tested, maintainable code in a real codebase.
  • •Ability to translate business problems into technical specifications and delivered software, including writing design docs and explaining them to non-technical partners.
  • •Working knowledge across cloud infrastructure (GCP preferred), data engineering (SQL/warehouses/pipelines), integration patterns (REST/GraphQL/webhooks/event-driven/iPaaS like Workato or SnapLogic), automation tooling, and IAM.
