•Install building automation systems and temperature control systems using conduit, enclosures, wiring, and end devices.
•Interpret control drawings, plans, and specifications; examine building layout and prepare for onsite installation by coordinating materials and other trades.
•Serve as direct customer contact for assigned projects and ensure customer satisfaction by diagnosing, troubleshooting, and repairing equipment and systems at customer locations.
•Maintain inventory, company equipment, vehicles, tools, and records; keep documentation of service manuals, scheduled repairs, and maintenance service.
•Complete required job paperwork (daily time, progress, duration) and enforce safety and security standards for company assets.

Key Requirements

•High school diploma or equivalent and typically 2-5 years of experience in HVAC/controls; technical school or formal training preferred.
•Operating knowledge of Microsoft Office and proficiency with handheld computers (e.g., smartphone, iPad).
•Knowledge of low-voltage electricity, electronics (board-level troubleshooting), direct digital controls, and building control techniques.
•Current or future participation in an ABC electrical apprenticeship program is desired.
•Must have a valid driver’s license for at least 12 months with no major/frequent traffic violations in the past 3 years.
