Key Responsibilities

  • •Ensure all design system components meet quality standards including accessibility, motion, and theming, and scale effectively.
  • •Own production-ready, machine-readable system knowledge (docs, usage rules, accessibility, tokens, patterns) in partnership with design and engineering.
  • •Translate design guidance into explicit structured logic (rules, decision trees, contracts) that AI agents and tools can safely consume.
  • •Define and evolve design system primitives (layout, interaction, accessibility) and component APIs for consistent, testable adoption.
  • •Partner on AI-assisted design tooling and build system-aware copilot/refactoring workflows and testing frameworks to maintain accessible, performant, on-brand usage.

Key Requirements

  • •5-8+ years of experience in system design with a proven track record delivering design system solutions at scale.
  • •Expertise in systems thinking and the ability to balance high-level strategy with detailed execution.
  • •Strong communication and storytelling skills to influence stakeholders across disciplines.
  • •Production experience with React, modern JS/TS, and CSS (including utility frameworks).
  • •Ability to work fluently across Figma and code, reasoning about how they map over time.
